Sarah's Goblins

Okay call me weak but I had such an itching to do a Labyrinth piece. And I had a lot of fun creating it. Also I went back to my original style.

This has to be one of my favorites of mine. I went with the idea that Sarah has become an artist than an actress. I always thought it would be difficult to act as a heroine when you had truly played that role. I also figured she would want to capture that "fantasy" world as much as possible since it influenced much of here life. Who knew it would come knocking on her door again.

The goblins are my favorite and I tried to give them each their own personality. Their stories are up to you, however, the tallest one (yet to be named) is more human than goblin mostly because he does carry more human traits but also that warm look in his eyes gives him a more intelligent look. He seems to have a story of his own... not necessarily unhappy, he seems pretty content to me.

As for the goblin and the peach, well... that is for you to decide. Is it a failed mission? A mishap kitchen raid? The possibilities are endless...

Sarah's painting is a picture of the Labyrinth with I converted to watercolor and smudged paint on it for good measure... so I can't take credit for it.
