Artist's Comments

It's been awhile since I've done a Labyrinth piece...

This was just a random sketch I had. I was just trying to perfect drawing Jareth and I ended up making him look quite young.

Then the idea hit me. Jareth had to learn his trick and magic from someone.

Meet Archaius (ar KEE us). He doesn't dress quite as extravagant as Jareth, but don't be fooled. He is very clever and very knowledgeable in almost every subject (he has quite a few years on Jareth). However, does not appreciate games and riddles as much as Jareth does. However, very rarely can Jareth outwit Archaius (he tries often). Archaius may be tough with Jareth, constantly pushing him and seldom giving a compliment, however, Jareth is Archaius' prodigy. Archaius recognizes Jareth's arrogance and cruelty at times and warns him, time and time again, that if taken too far it could only serve to hurt him.

Jareth respects Archaius (even though at times he calls him old man) and takes heed to most of his advice. As Jareth matures he takes on some of Archaius characteristics and approach on history, literature, magic and even beauty. Jareth learned the art of seduction by watching Archaius. Archaius has a weakness for beautiful women.

That's all for now! Feel free to expand the story... if you do, please tell me, because I would want to read it!:D

Jareth belongs to Jim Henson Co.
Archaius belongs to me.

Well enjoy!

To be honest the idea came about by pure accident.

lol, thanks again!

I kinda wish I had the ability to expand but, alas, I am not a writer... I just accumulate ideas.
